This is the blog where you can follow our adventure in Nepal from October 13th 2026 returning to Canada November 9th 2026. We are trekking two main routes linked togther in a 24-day Annapurna and Mardi Himal trekking itinerary that will take us by foot to the Annapurna Base Camp, as well as to the Mardi Himal Base Camp. Depending on coverage we will post daily routes, reflections, photos, etc.
We start October 12th driving from Nelson to Vancouver, then early October 13th flying to Kathmandu via Singapore. We arrive in Kathmandu October 14th where we will connect with our guide, Baghwat of Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours www.himalayanadventuretreks.com. Baghwat has been excellent to work with on a very unique itinerary. We hope to have missed the monsoon season which has been so tragic for Nepal this post month.
